Wow! Girl you look AMAZING.
OMG. this is amazing!
This is the best thing ever. In the world. Please do more! So I can decide on a costume, even though I have just pretty firmly decided on deer. LOVETHISTOOMUCH.
omg, this is so great, shannon!
You look awesome. Thanks for sharing. I adore this and am actually doing this with a spooky twist and being Bambi's mom by (spoiler alert) adding an arrow through my chest. One question, though. What are you spraying the brushes with? Is that MAC brush cleaner?
THANKS SO MUCH and I LOVE your costume idea! I'm using MAC Fix Plus - its a hydrating mist which has a bit of glycerin in it - it provides a slip to the makeup so it applies smoother. Its great as a finishing spray or to sheer out foundations. It will give you a slightly more dewy look as a finishing spray!
I. LOVE. THIS.Was going to go as max from Where the Wild Things Are, but changed my mind.YOU ARE AWWWWEEESSSOOOMMME.
Hi! Quuuuiiiiiicccck question-- could you please do a greyhound? I will send pictures if you need.

This is TOO cute!
This is so cute! love love love! I love to see such a sweet, innocent halloween look for a change! adorable!bitcheswithbudgets.blogspot.com
Thank you! xx
What did you use on your lips? Some of the white chroma cake? What was the gloss and liner? Thanks
Stripdown Pencil and Underage Lip Glass by Mac xx
What was the white paint-ish stuff you used called?
White Chroma Cake by MAC :)
Do you think this would work for someone who has 'hooded' eyelids?
Yes! you just ignore your natural eye shape to create the exaggerated eye shape. You can draw the crease above your natural crease to get that look :)
Thanks Shannon. Would you happen to have a tutorial like this for a cat look. I know cats are kind of boring for Halloween but my daughter wants to be one so I was hoping to find something 'cool' to make it stand out from the standard dots and whiskers. Thanks for responding so quickly!
It's a cute idea, but it's a bit too feline, maybe. Also, why are you doing squirrel hands in the bottom picture? Deer don't do that.
What is your purpose?
THANK YOU! my gosh, that is the perfect response to these type of people...some nasty comments on the video and I couldn't help but lash back a bit :/ Next time I'll say this
Oh-My-Goodness! LalalalalaLOVE this! Going to copy this and be a deer while the boyfriend is a hunter. Thanks for being so creative and sharing your mad-skills with us!
I love this! One question though. For the brown parts, could you use regular bronzer or just brown halloween face makeup? If so, what would be the difference in how it looked?
great job!! this is amazing!! What are you planning on wearing costume wise?
So beautiful! I love love love!!! Weird question. Are u putting the bottome lashes on the new line you made under the eye?
Yes she did! Watch the tutorial - it's pretty awesome!
Love this! It was so easy to follow. I've never done Halloween makeup and it came out AWESOME. Thanks for sharing :)
We really like this make up, we've never seen a deer costume before so we've used this photo in a Halloween post in our blog, we hope it doesn't bother you. You can see it if you want here http://lovelymishmash.wordpress.com/2013/10/27/disfraces-para-halloween-2/
Thanks for the tutorial! Super helpful. Only had one set of fake lashes but here's my stab at it! http://instagram.com/p/f8yy83CtGz/
Hi! Absolutely love this tutorial. I was wondering what kind of clothing you would wear to go with it? I'm having the hardest time coming up with that. Thanks!
I think I'm going to wear something kinda like an Indian?Ps asked the same question:)
Any dupe options for MAC Select Cover Up NW45? Love this so much!!
Also, what about lashes substitutions? or if anyone can find me pics of the ones she uses, I could find something similar at the drugstore
Any idea what i should wear? Thanks! P.s Love this :)
I am going to be a wolf next year and was wondering if you have any ideas for a sexy look with that. I love this deer look. So creative and amazing. Innocent and sexy wrapped in one :)
Thank you so much! You totally made my Halloween! I looked amazing =)
Hi there! So glad I found your site. I applied the makeup yesterday for my halloween day costume and it came out great! Not quite as perfect as your but for a first-timer not bad. It took me about two hours though...I'm sure it doesn't take you that long. LOL. Luckily my halloween night time make up was much easier.
heey girl one question could i replace the mac chroma-cake with another affordable cosmetic??thaaaanks a lot 4 that amazing idea
Loving your page. Found it while searching for Halloween makeup ideas and related stuffs. I actually don't have that creativity but it's fun so collect such photos and tutorials on my Pinterest board collection. Please allow me to pin some of your photos, pleaseeeeeeeee! thanks much and God bless!
What did you wear for the actual costume??
Hi! I love your look here! But I was wondering since the make up is too expensive for me is there an alternative product I can you (like costume makeup of drugstore makeup)? That would help out a lot! thanks!
How do you get the "antlers" to stay in place- mine keep falling after I put them in the headband, even if i try and pin them. HELP!
Hot glue and a regular plastic headband should do the trick!
I found this via google searching for this years costumes and this is amazing!! I am officially following your blog. I need recommendations on what to wear? Does anyone have suggestions? Also, I live in AZ so finding small tree branches is like, a no-go. To Michael's I go for fake supplies!
I'm doing this for Halloween!! That was a great video.
For the dots on the cheek, what product is that? Is it just the the chroma cake, or something else?
Obsessed with this! You're so adorable! I want to do this for work, bartender. What should I wear? I don't usually do costumes at work because the men get a bit out of hand
How do you know which shade of concealer to use?
Hi Shannon! Please help! Any cheaper version of White Chroma Cake by MAC that you can think of that I might be able to use? That stuff is like $50 and I will not need it again. Ideas, please! :)
Any ideas on how to make the ear part if i have longer blonde hair lol. This is amazing! LOVE THIS!
Loving this! I might totally copy you! If you're looking for a new beauty blogger to follow, check out my brand new blog katiecutes.blogspot.com !!
I loved this tutorial and was able to follow along (despite my limited makeup skills). I was able to create the look user a silvery white eyeshadow and deep bronzer (without having to buy any new products besides the fake eyelashes). Got so many compliments and this look- and the whole costume was under $10! Thanks Shannon!
