The Daily Battle

Every night before I go to bed, I have very serious inner dialogue about how I am going to the gym the next day.  I am always feeling really good about it before I go to bed.  Then when the next day actually comes I can give you any excuse you want to hear about why I didn't make it.  For me, if I don't go in the AM I have pretty much missed my window.  Once I get into the full swing of the day, the last thing I want to do is go get sweaty, shower, change, wash my hair or do my makeup again.  What better to get me motivated than new things to wear and use at the gym!?  Okay, okay it may not be the right kind of motivation to get me there, but it lasts for a couple of weeks (better than nothing?)  Here are a few little treats I like to bring with me when I am faking being fit.

  1. Haha! I have the same issue every morning! I've also started packing a lot of similar stuff to help get me going. And I plan everything out the night before (from jeans to mascara).


  2. I cut out the whole debate by buying a spin bike and kettles for my apartment! It's worked so far...
